Get to know a little bit of Holland

Henri Willig has been demonstrating the craft of the wooden shoemaker, the cheese maker and process of cheese making at his farms (Hoeves) and at his Cheese Factory to more than a million visitors annually for over 35 years. A stop at one of the Henri Willig farms in Volendam, Katwoude or at the Zaanse Schans has proven to be an exceptionally popular attraction among tourists and tour operators, thanks to the authentic Dutch atmosphere, the informative character and of course, the opportunity of tasting the wares at the end of the tour.

Each of our ‘Hoeves’, all situated in a rural setting within a 20-minute drive from Amsterdam, has its own unique identity. This makes a visit to the cheese farm eminently suitable for combination trips. Parking on the grounds is free of charge at the Alida Hoeve and Jacobs Hoeve and there’s no entrance fee in all three Hoeves. See you soon!
