Walking on your own creation

Participate in a wooden shoe painting workshop! Participants receive a pair of untreated wooden shoes. The various options for decorating your wooden shoes are diverse, from a traditional Dutch style to Mondriaan or something more contemporary. We have many sample drawings from which to choose.

The workshop allows for plenty of time to practise and experiment on test sheets to determine your choice of colours and design. Only when you have made your final decision will the definitive design be applied to the wooden shoes.



The workshop is meant to be a do-it-yourself activity, under the guidance of a professional instructor. Participants need no prior painting experience or ability. Everyone will be amazed at his/her own creativity and results. Extra instructors will be brought in for larger groups.



The workshops run from 20 persons and take about 1.5 hours in total. All materials, the lesson and, of course, the wooden shoes for you to take home are all included in the price. Prices available upon request.

Our farms are situated close to Amsterdam and open daily.		Visit our farms free of charge. On-site parking available.
